Forest Times brings together two major recent projects by artist Uriel Orlow, Reading Wood (Backwards), 2022, and Forest Futurism, 2024, in which plants are simultaneously political actors, witnesses to the past and guides for the future.

We designed this catalogue as a compact, portable object with a fluorescent, holographic cover, borrowing from the visual language of science‑fiction novels and breaking away from traditional art catalogues. The book does not aim to be a perfect record of the works but rather a translation that gives a different perspective onto them, whether through their new materiality (paper texture, transparency) or their new colour (duotone printing of the work Dedication).
